ethno-educational model is implemented, which also allows for the cultural preservation of the
Cenú ethnic group, the teaching of new languages, such as the Cenu language and English. The
ethnoeducation is an educational model that allows the unification of learning new languages and
create awareness of this need in the globalized world, to strengthen the cultural, facing the
postmodern challenges. The students show interest and pleasure in the strategies and
methodologies that are implemented in the school since they facilitate the acquisition of new
knowledge, the preservation of their culture and the learning of new languages. It is essential and
priority that schools generate the right conditions to preserve the cultural life of the community
and that through this also the teaching and learning of new languages can be articulated
