En ese sentido, le facilitan a los gestores de turismo locales el conocimiento y la preparación para coordinar y ejecutar acciones relacionadas con la actividad turística desde los criterios de sostenibilidad y el desarrollo económico local. Esta metodología de investigación social implica el análisis del problema y el análisis de las diferentes formas de solución, es decir, plantea una visión del territorio desde la participación y las acciones de los actores clave representados en la comunidad local. Para la construcción de los lineamientos técnicos y teóricos del Modelo de Desarrollo Turístico Sostenible con enfoque en turismo comunitario para el departamento de Sucre se abordaron 3 ejes principales: Gestión de destino sostenible, Desarrollo Económico local y Gobernanza Territorial; y tres categorías complementarias: Planificación y gestión del potencial endógeno, Turismo comunitario como modelo de negocio y Articulación, Estado, universidad, comunidad, y RSE.The present work describes the theoretical guidelines of an applied methodology that will allow the territories with tourist vocation of the department of Sucre to develop mechanisms of Management of Sustainable Tourist Destinations with a focus on Community Tourism. In that sense, they provide local tourism managers with the knowledge and preparation to coordinate and execute actions related to tourism activity from the criteria of sustainability and local economic development. This social research methodology involves the analysis of the problem and the Analysis of the different forms of solution, that is to say, poses a vision of the territory from the participation and actions of the key actors represented in the local community.
