La educación ambiental es un tema que ha venido preocupando a muchos investigadores y entidades; y del que se ha estudiado desde diferentes perspectivas; de allí que, sea necesario que los educandos conozcan la importancia del ambiente y la pongan en práctica. Teniendo en cuenta que el medio ambiente brinda salud y bienestar al mundo y al país, es que los investigadores hayan escogido titular su investigación “Hacia La Construcción De Una Cultura Ambiental, Desde El PRAE Institucional”. El cual asumió como objetivo general, fomentar la cultura ambiental en la institución educativa, bajo los criterios de conservación y sostenibilidad ambiental desde el Proyecto Ambiental Escolar en la Institución Educativa Jesús Maestro Sueños y Oportunidades. Para dinamizar el objetivo general, se llevó a cabo la identificación de los factores que dificultaban la mejora del entorno ambiental en la comunidad como la falta de sentido de pertenencia con su entorno lo que reflejaba la ausencia de cultura. Igualmente, se promovieron encuentros donde se reflexionó y espacios con relación a la práctica y el manejo ambiental del entorno escolar desde el PRAE. Valorando el impacto del PRAE en la institución de tal manera que se potencializara la conciencia ambiental en la comunidad. El método de la investigación se enmarcó dentro de lo cualitativo; es decir, se intentó comprender los hechos y las situaciones vividas por la comunidad educativa, la investigación cualitativa estudió la situación de manera natural y real, tal como sucede, descifrando las escenas de las personas comprometidas. La investigación dio como resultado un cambio de actitud hacia el buen uso y cuidado del medio ambiente. Teniendo como finalidad la interdisciplinariedad de las áreas que permitan dinamizar las acciones pedagógicas de los docentes con el fin de generar un cambio en la cultura ambiental en los estudiantesEl trabajo. Environmental education is an issue that has been worrying many researchers and entities; and which has been studied from different perspectives; hence, it is necessary for students to know the importance of the environment and put it into practice. Taking into account that the environment provides health and well-being to the world and the country, it is that researchers have chosen their research holder “Towards the Construction of an Environmental Culture, From the Institutional PRAE”. Which assumed as a general objective, to promote the environmental culture in the educational institution, under the criteria of conservation and environmental sustainability from the School Environmental Project in the Educational Institution Jesús Maestro Sueños y Oportunidades. In order to boost the general objective, the identification of the factors that hindered the improvement of the environmental environment in the community was carried out, such as the lack of a sense of belonging to its surroundings, which reflected the absence of culture. Likewise, meetings were promoted where reflection and spaces regarding the practice and environmental management of the school environment from the PRAE were promoted. Assessing the impact of PRAE on the institution in such a way that environmental awareness in the community will be enhanced. The research method was framed within the qualitative; that is, an attempt was made to understand the facts and situations experienced by the educational community, qualitative research studied the situation in a natural and real way, as it happens, deciphering the scenes of the people involved. The research resulted in a change of attitude towards the good use and care of the environment.
