La metodología fue el paradigma cualitativo, con un enfoque descriptivo e interpretativo con un diseño bibliográfico de tipo longitudinal basada en el tiempo, con un método de revisión de literatura con técnica de revisión documental y una muestra de 6 buscadores de bases de datos como Google académico, proquest, scielo, redalyc Institución Colombiana de Bienestar Familiar y el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal. Dentro de los resultados obtenidos se encuentra que el origen del agresor sexual se ve incidido por factores psicológicos develados por las diferentes investigaciones, así como también se encontraron factores bilógicos, familiares, socios culturales, socios ambientales, educativos y económicos que explican el origen del agresor sexual infantil.
