Finalmente, se planteó la manera en la que la Universidad Sergio Arboleda sede Barranquilla implementó el plan integral de gestión ambiental y como los estudiantes pueden participar activamente en este plan.In this work we discussed the importance that higher education ins-titutions represent in society, specifically in the face of environmental problems. This is a theoretical corpus that seeks to inform the reader about what the environmental problems are at present with respect to the university context and what methods can be implemented to miti-gate them and if possible, eliminate them altogether.
