Se identificaron en el municipio de galeras 20 potencialidades que muestran el arraigo de la población Galerana a su cultura y tradiciones. Con esos atractivos el municipio tiene las bases para gestar procesos entorno a la planeación turística y así visionar a Galeras como destino turístico cultural de la Sabana Sucreña.The following investigation had like main objective, to analyze the cultural tourist potential in the municipality of Galeras belonging to the department of Sucre, identifying the attributes, attractions, infrastructure and institutional components that allowed to generate a strategic plan to take advantage of, position and develop cultural tourism products in the department of Sucre. To achieve this, it was essential to characterize the municipality, analyze its offer and tourism infrastructure; in order to establish a baseline of the current tourism situation that contributes to the management of tourism planning strategies in the locality. 20 potentialities were identified in the municipality of Galeras that show the roots of the Galerana population to their culture and traditions.
