Cuyo objetivo principal es determinar los niveles de atención y memoria de los estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje en los centros educativos de Sincelejo, Sucre a través de la medición y evaluación psicológica con la aplicación de la prueba Neuropsi, así como el análisis de los resultados obtenidos, se fundamenta en las conceptualizaciones de autores como Ostrosky, Ardila y Roselli (2003), sobre atención y memoria y definiciones como la de Kirk sobre las dificultades de aprendizaje. Como resultado de esta investigación se obtuvo que, de los 24 participantes de esta, alteraciones en un nivel severo en trece de los evaluados en los niveles de atención y memoria y cuatro con alteración leve, lo cual significa que las dificultades que presentan el aprendizaje están determinadas por las alteraciones que presentan en los procesos atencionales y de memoria, sin embargo, obtuvo dos estudiantes con procesos atencionales y de memoria normales y dos con normal alto, lo que implica, que sus dificultades en los procesos de aprendizaje no tienen que ver con una alteración a nivel del neurodesarrollo sino con otros factores, como los estilos parentales, el acompañamiento de los mismo en el proceso de aprendizaje, las estrategias y métodos de enseñanza y evaluación de los mismos, de manera general se logra determinar los niveles de atención y memoria de los estudiantes reportados con dificultades de aprendizaje, sin embargo se hace necesario destacar la importancia de la implicación de la familia y docentes de forma activa en los procesos académicos de los niños.
