El objetivo principal fue analizar el fenómeno del bullying en los estudiantes de los grados 7º, 8º y 9º de la Institución Educativa la Inmaculada Concepción de Varsovia – Sucre. Se basó en una metodología cuantitativa con un alcance descriptivo y un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal, cuya muestra estuvo conformada por 59 estudiantes de los grados 7º, 8º y 9º con un rango de edad de 13 a 17 años a quienes se les aplico el Instrumento para la evaluación del Bullying INSEBULL. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que existe una incidencia significativa de casos de bullying en los estudiantes, la tipología más común presente son los insultos, burlas, reírse de los demás, hablar mal de los demás, rechazo social, maltrato físico y amenazas. Se concluyó que el fenómeno del bullying se presenta con gran intensidad y que es necesario realizar acciones de intervención que contribuyan a la disminución de los casos y el apoyo a los estudiantes víctimas.
