El diseño utilizado para este estudio fue de tipo transversal ya que el investigador no intervino directamente en el contexto. Se aplicó, un cuestionario que tuvo en cuenta la percepción individual de la ansiedad de los trabajadores informales, frente al confinamiento, especificando que el cuestionario fue avalado para esta población en particular, conformada por 35 trabajadores que estuvieron sujetos al censo realizado por la alcaldía municipal de San Benito Abad. Los resultados de la investigación permitieron determinar los niveles de ansiedad a causa del confinamiento por Covid 19, los cuales indican que; de los 21 ítems, 13 de ellas arrojan un índice de independencia menor a 0,05 lo que apunta, a que los niveles de ansiedad no se vieron afectados por el confinamiento por Covid 19. Para finalizar, teniendo en cuenta que en general los niveles de ansiedad se mantuvieron estables en la población de trabajadores informales del municipio, es importante dar a conocer recomendaciones, que mantengan estables los niveles de ansiedad. El trabajo.The present work consists of describing the levels of anxiety generated by the confinement due to the Covid 19 pandemic in the informal workers of San Benito Abad; where the methodology implemented to carry out the research was described under the positivist paradigm and was carried out by means of a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope, which allowed the measurement of the study variable. The design used for this study was cross-sectional, as the researcher did not intervene directly in the context. A questionnaire was applied that took into account the individual perception of the anxiety of informal workers, in the face of confinement, specifying that the questionnaire was endorsed for this particular population, made up of 35 workers who were subject to the census carried out by the municipal mayor's office of San Benito Abad. The results of the research allowed determining the levels of anxiety due to the confinement by Covid 19, which indicate that; of the 21 items, 13 of them show an independence index of less than 0.05, which indicates that anxiety levels were not affected by the Covid 19 confinement. Finally, taking into account that in general the levels of anxiety remained stable in the population of informal workers in the municipality, it is important to publicize recommendations that keep anxiety levels stable.
