Además, permite organizar, dirigir y controlar aquellas actividades que se efectúan en la vida diaria de la población (Grudemi, 2018). El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar el crecimiento y las perspectivas del sector terciario en la ciudad de Sincelejo; para alcanzar dicho objetivo se aplicó un diseño metodológico de carácter cuantitativo, donde la fuente de información principal fue primaria, la cual, consistió en un cuestionario que se le aplicó a una muestra de 50 personas. Como principal resultado del trabajo se estableció que las actividades del sector terciario en este municipio están relacionadas con el comercio, transporte, turismo, salud y establecimientos que desarrollan actividades de producción. En este contexto, se describe la evolución del Producto Interno Bruto a nivel departamental y Municipal, se determina la participación del sector terciario en la economía de la ciudad de Sincelejo reconociendo el fortalecimiento económico mediante el estudio de constitución empresarial en la Cámara de Comercio de Sincelejo. Por lo tanto, la pregunta de investigación responde a través de la entrevista con personas seleccionadas al azar con respuestas abiertas para conocer los factores influyentes en el nivel de crecimiento económico del sector terciario en la ciudad de Sincelejo.
