Con el propósito de dar a conocer las principales necesidades presentes en la misma enfatizando la parte ambiental, apoyándonos en los ODS (objetivos del desarrollo sostenible). Señalando de esta forma que la metodología de este proyecto será de carácter mixto sustentado en la Teoría de las tres dimensiones del desarrollo sostenible propuesta por (Kopfmüller et al., 2001). Con un alcance descriptivo y un diseño no experimental de campo, durante el desarrollo de este trabajo se diseñan y validan entrevistas estructuradas y semiestructuradas que facilitaron el trabajo con las personas del barrio Puerto Arturo ubicado en la ciudad de Sincelejo; trabajando solo con habitantes de la población que hayan cumplido la mayoría de edad y que a su vez tengan más de cinco años viviendo en ese sector del municipio. Exponiendo lo encontrado por medio de graficas que permitieron la organización de la información obtenida al momento de aplicación de instrumentos. Destacando las necesidades encontradas durante la realización de este proyecto, teniendo en cuenta que, en esta comunidad se hallaron múltiples problemáticas que están afectando su calidad de vida; tal como son; la presencia de plagas, malos olores y mosquitos en sus alrededores, siendo causante principal de ello la gran acumulación de basuras en múltiples sectores de la comunidad, no dejando de lado el nivel de seguridad existente entre habitantes del barrio.The present work intends to describe the human development of the community located in the Puerto Arturo neighborhood in Sincelejo, Sucre. With the purpose of making known the main needs present in it, emphasizing the environmental part, supporting ourselves in the SDGs (sustainable development objectives). Indicating in this way that the methodology of this project will be of a mixed nature based on the Theory of the three dimensions of sustainable development proposed by (Kopfmüller et al., 2001). With a descriptive scope and a non-experimental field design, during the development of this work structured and semi-structured interviews are designed and validated that facilitated the work with the people of the Puerto Arturo neighborhood located in the city of Sincelejo; working only with inhabitants of the population who have reached the age of majority and who in turn have lived in that sector of the municipality for more than five years. Exposing what was found by means of graphs that allowed the organization of the information obtained at the time of application of instruments.
