(2021), Casas (1991), Quintero-Velásquez (2003), Guerra-Pfari (2022), Pira-Aldana et al. (2020) y el Congreso de la República de Colombia (2008). Simultáneamente, la metodología utilizada ha sido el método cualitativo al permitir la exploración de múltiples narrativas, experiencias y significados de los participantes por medio del uso del grupo focal, la entrevista semiestructurada y la observación; concluyéndose del análisis que existe una correlación entre el tiempo libre y la violencia de género en la familia estudiada. El trabajo.The correlation between free time and gender-based violence is a field of knowledge in which we study the way in which the control and limitation of time can become a symptomatology that acts as a means for the identification of this type of violence; In this sense, we seek to understand how the use of these spaces of rest affect the dynamics of power within families, making visible subtle practices that promote gender inequality subject to the research project “Free time and its relationship with gender violence with a family in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of the municipality of Corozal - Sucre 2022-2024”, in which the objective is to analyze the relationship between free time and gender violence in a family in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Corozal - Sucre in the year 2022 - 2024, taking into account considerations of authors such as RodrigoHernández et al. (2021), Casas (1991), Quintero-Velásquez (2003), Guerra-Pfari (2022), PiraAldana et al. (2020) and the Congress of the Republic of Colombia (2008). Simultaneously, the methodology used was the qualitative method, allowing the exploration of multiple narratives, experiences and meanings of the participants through the use of the focus group, the semistructured interview and observation; concluding from the analysis that there is a correlation between leisure time and gender violence in the family studied.
