Se propuso una metodología de investigación cualitativa de tipo etnográfico, apoyados en observación directa y entrevistas a sabedores ancestrales. Obteniéndose el significado de vocablos de la etnia zenú en el contexto comunitario, de gran valor ancestral para los sabedores, de igual forma se realizaron análisis documental de documentos en manuscritos que existen en el contexto comunitario legibles para contrastar, con la información recogida de campo. Por lo tanto, se logró identificar vocablos existentes en la etnia zenú en el contexto comunitario de gran valor significativo para el resguardo y se socializaron con la comunidad los hallazgos encontrados.The present investigation was titled meaning the ethnic language of the ethnic group, to think and feel zenú, proposing the following research purposes, to identify words of the zenú language in the community context of the sabanas de la negra population, indigenous reservation of the municipality of Sampues , assess the meaning of the mother tongue of the zenú ethnic group in the indigenous community context of the Sabanas de la negra population and make visible in the community vocabulary of the mother tongue in the social context as a significant contribution, a methodology of qualitative research was proposed. ethnographic type, supported by direct observation and interviews with ancestral experts.
