Sucre es un departamento hermoso con grandiosas riquezas naturales y desarrolla diversas actividades económicas que son las principales fuentes para el desarrollo de la economía de la región. Es así como llega incidir el FOOD SERVICE en el departamento de sucre, siendo esta una actividad que ha venido en crecimiento apuntando a la generación de empleo, al beneficio social y/o particular y al emprendimiento e innovación. Sin embargo, existen factores que impiden un crecimiento significante de esta, como es el caso de la gestión financiera, donde escasamente no desarrollan el proceso de la planeación financiera, el uso del sistema contable es débil, lo que ha causado a la poca generación de información confiable, suficiente, oportuna, precisa y clara, de igual manara la planeación del sistema en su respectivo proceso de entrada, proceso de la información y salida de información no es suficientemente útil para la toma de decisiones y para la generación de valor de la empresa. Esta investigación comprende desde cómo se halla el sistema contable de las empresas del FOOD SERVICE, la eficiencia de los sistemas de información gerencial y el proceso de la planeación financiera en las empresas del FOOD SERVICE en el departamento de sucre. En el estudio que se realiza se eligió como instrumento encuestas donde se estimaron las áreas de finanzas como lo es el monitoreo de costos y contabilidad, la administración financiera y planeación del sistema, de los cuales se aplicó xx a las empresas del FOOD SERVICE que resultaron de un muestreo estadístico suministrado por la cámara de comercio de Sincelejo. Posteriormente al estudio realizado se confirmó la insuficiente aplicación de la planeación financiera en las empresas del FOOD SERVICE en el departamento de sucre, el sistema contable es débil para controlar y organizar las operaciones que realizan día a día y la eficiencia de la planeación del sistema tiene poco aprovecho para la toma de decisiones, se procede a establecer fortalecimiento a las áreas que presentan debilidad e insuficiencia aplicando de manera adecuada y formal cada una de estas áreas en las empresas.El trabajo. This is how the FOOD SERVICE comes to impact in the department of Sucre, being this an activity that has been growing, aiming at the generation of employment, social and / or particular enefit and entrepreneurship and innovation. However, there are factors that prevent a significant growth of this, such as financial management, where they rarely do not develop the process of financial planning, the use of the accounting system is weak, which has caused little generation of reliable information. In the same way the planning of the system in its respective entry process, information process and information output is not sufficiently useful for decision making and for the generation of value of the company. This research includes how the accounting system of the FOOD SERVICE companies is, the efficiency of the management information systems and the process of financial planning in the companies of the FOOD SERVICE in the department of Sucre. The study made use of surveys as an instrument where the areas of finance were estimated, such as cost and accounting monitoring, financial administration and system planning, of which was applied to the FOOD SERVICE companies that resulted of a statistical sampling provided by Camara de Comercio of Sincelejo.
