Para ello es importante la organización de este sector, la caracterización, y modelamiento de la cadena de suministro agroalimentaria (CSA) a partir de factores que inciden e impactan en la eficiencia y comportamiento de la CS de manera directa o indirecta. En esta primera fase, se presenta la situación actual de la cadena, y la caracterización de las variables que la conforman, gracias a datos y parámetros reales recopilados en encuestas, entrevistas y otras fuentes secundarias en la región sabanas, Montes de María y región Golfo de Morrosquillo. Utilizando un análisis estructural, las variables se priorizan, y se convierten en los factores determinantes para elaborar el diagrama Causal. Mediante este modelo, fue posible identificar los bucles y analizar los efectos directos, indirectos e interacciones más importantes que describen el modelo o eslabón de distribución y su logística del Dioscorea spp, con fines de exportación a los EEUU.The Dioscorea spp, currently presents for the Atlantic coast, and in particular, for the department of Sucre an opportunity to produce and make exports of name (Dioscorea spp) are high-value markets.
