Esta investigación se centra en las estrategias contra la violencia doméstica hacia las mujeres diseñadas por el Gobierno del Municipio de Galeras en el periodo 2020-2023. Se partirá de una breve exposición de antecedentes sobre el tema para continuar con el marco teórico que permitirá responder el problema jurídico planteado que consiste en establecer si son efectivas las medidas implementadas por el Municipio de Galeras para la prevención de la violencia contra las mujeres ante la violencia sufrida por parte de sus parejas examinando su pertinencia. Para tal fin se abordó desde las herramientas propias de la investigación cualitativa, concluyendo que las medidas y los recursos establecidos por el municipio es escaso, por lo tanto, no son efectivas para el cumplimiento de dicha meta.A social and public health problem is the issue of violence against women, especially by their intimate partners who even end their lives, increasing the number of femicides in the country. This research focuses on the strategies against domestic violence against women designed by the Government of the Municipality of Galeras in the period 2020-2023. It will start with a brief background on the subject to continue with the theoretical framework that will allow answering the legal problem posed, which consists of establishing whether the measures implemented by the Municipality of Galeras for the prevention of violence against women in the face of violence suffered by their partners are effective by examining their relevance.
