Bilingüe Jorge Nicolás Abello de la ciudad de Barranquilla. A partir del diseño cualitativo de investigación y el corte descriptivo, el enfoque que orientó el rastreo de los datos en el contexto de quinto grado. Se indagaron los resultados a nivel institucional en las pruebas Saber según el Índice Sintético de Calidad del cuatrenio (2015-2018), y la estructura de del currículo de ciencias naturales del plantel educativo para confrontar la existencia o inexistencia de coherencia en relación con las exigencias ministeriales. Una vez analizados estos aspectos, se procede a la estructura de la secuencia didáctica “Mi entorno: mi laboratorio de aprendizaje”, una propuesta que buscó que los estudiantes de 5° identificaran la importancia del entorno natural y de los conceptos básicos de las ciencias naturales, usaran los recursos del contexto escolar y extraescolar y aplicaran las temáticas vistas en clase, cumpliendo los retos para lograr el objetivo de aprendizaje coherente con el estándar y los Derechos Básicos de Aprendizaje del grado al que pertenecen.The objective of this project was to design teaching strategies for the teaching of natural sciences in fifth grade based on the context and resources of I.E.D.
