Contra-continuous functions defined through ΛI -closed sets

We introduce some variants of contra-continuity in terms of ΛI -closed sets, namely contra-ΛI - continuous, contra quasi-ΛI -continuous and contra ΛI -irresolute functions. The relationships between these functions are investigated and their respective characterizations are established. Moreover, we study their behavior of several topological notions under the direct and inverse images of these functions.
