dc.description.abstract | Este artículo está basado en una investigación hecha con la necesidad de fortalecer la comunicación oral en inglés de los estudiantes. Se evidencia una problemática general en cuanto a este tema; los estudiantes no expresan de manera fácil su punto de vista, además de no tener una correcta pronunciación y sintaxis al hablar. Esta investigación se lleva a cabo en los estudiantes de secundaria de la institución educativa liceo León de Greiff, específicamente en los estudiantes de 9A. Con este trabajo se busca determinar los factores más destacados que influyen en la comunicación oral en inglés de los estudiantes con la implementación de los debates, y a su vez, describir la manera en cómo la fluidez y la precisión se ven afectados con el uso de esta estrategia, la cual es implementada a través de cinco momentos; el diagnóstico, los tres debates enfocados en distintos temas actuales y finalmente, la actividad final. Los datos obtenidos son recolectados a través de encuestas y rúbricas, los cuales son posteriormente graficados con el fin de analizarlos. Los resultados obtenidos muestran un avance en la comunicación oral en inglés de los estudiantes, mostrando una mayor apropiación de la lengua y fortalecimiento de la fluidez y precisión al hablar. | |
dc.description.abstract | This article is based on a research conducted with the need to strengthen students' English oral communication. There is a general problem with this issue; students do not express their point of view easily, besides not having a correct pronunciation and syntax when speaking. This research is conducted on high school students at Liceo León de Greiff School, specifically in 9A students. This work seeks to determine the most prominent factors that influence students' English oral communication with the implementation of debates, and at the same time, describe how fluency and accuracy are affected by the use of this strategy, which is implemented through five stages; the diagnosis, the three debates focused on different current topics and the final activity. The data obtained are collected through surveys and rubrics, which are subsequently plotted for analysis. The results obtained show a breakthrough in the English oral communication of students, showing greater ownership of the language and strengthening the fluency and accuracy in speaking. | |
