dc.description.abstractLa comunidad LGBTI (lesbianas, gays, bisexuales, transexuales, travestis, transgénero intersexuales), como grupo social ha logrado avances significativos en la búsqueda del reconocimiento de sus derechos; no obstante, debido al fenómeno de la homofobia esta comunidad sigue siendo víctima de discriminación y rechazo por parte de diferentes sectores sociales; por lo cual la presente investigación se orienta al análisis de las representaciones sociales sobre diversidad sexual en contextos religiosos del municipio de Corozal, Sucre; el estudio se direcciona bajo dos teorías, la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales (Moscovici, 1969) y la Teoría de Genero de Lauretis (1989), la metodología empleada en la investigación parte de un paradigma interpretativo, con enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo, su diseño es flexible, emergente y fenomenológico; se trabajó con un total de 9 informantes constituidos por 8 informantes claves y uno experto y la información se recolecto a través de entrevista semiestructurada, por la cual se pudo identificar la percepción de los informantes desde tres sentidos (Estereotipos, Emociones y Actitudes) en relación a la diversidad sexual; en este sentido, se puede inferir que los participantes poseen una ideología de respeto hacia todas las personas sin tener en cuenta su orientación sexual, por lo que manifiestan rechazo hacia situaciones de discriminación o violencia por razones de orientación sexual. dc.description.abstractThe LGBTI community (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals, transvestites, transgender intersex), as a social group has made significant progress in the search for the recognition of their rights; However, due to the phenomenon of homophobia, this community continues to be the victim of discrimination and rejection by different social sectors; for which the present investigation is oriented to the analysis of the social representations on sexual diversity in religious contexts of the municipality of Corozal, Sucre; the study is addressed under two theories, the Theory of Social Representations (Moscovici, 1969) and the Theory of Gender by Lauretis (1989), the methodology used in the research starts from an interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative approach of a descriptive type, its Design is flexible, emergent and phenomenological; We worked with a total of 9 informants constituted by 8 key informants and one expert and the information was collected through semi-structured interview, by which the perception of the informants could be identified from three senses (Stereotypes, Emotions and Attitudes) in relation to sexual diversity; In this sense, it can be inferred that the participants have an ideology of respect towards all people without taking into account their sexual orientation, for which they manifest rejection towards situations of discrimination or violence for reasons of sexual orientation.
