MUJERES MIGRANTES VENEZOLANAS RESIDENTES EN BARRANQUILLA: DESAFÍO AL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LOS OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE
Capítulo - Parte de Libro
2020
The ratification by the Republic of Colombia of the Millennium
Development Goals - MDG, serves as a legal basis with respect to the
commitments established conventionally for the improvement of the
living conditions of the populations, the year 2015 was highlighted as
the horizon of completion in its execution. After the expiration of the
deadline agreed by the parties and the balance sheet of the General
Assembly of the United Nations, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development is adopted, determining the eradication of poverty as
an indicator of sustainability. The current situation presented by the
Venezuelan exodus has generated migratory flows, either of transit or
residence and even of returned nationals, has generated public health
problems that for the purposes of the present investigation will be
delimited in women as subjects of vulnerability, addressed from an
intersectional approach. According to reports from the Planning
Department National - DNP and the UN, Colombia has progressively
fulfilled the commitments established in this conventional instrument,
however, the arrival of these populations represents a challenge to be
addressed by the National Government to respond favorably to the
