LA COMISIÓN DE LA VERDAD, APROXIMACIÓN A LA VERDAD DESDE LOS TERRITORIOS

El establecimiento de una comisión de la verdad en Colombia como
una de las instituciones que forman parte de la transición hacia la paz
es un gran avance para lograr una reconciliación nacional a través de
la dignificación de las víctimas, sin embargo el mandato de esta no
encuentra una coyuntura fácil, teniendo en cuenta que los diálogos de
paz y el Acuerdo Final que se concluyó con las FARC, del cual deriva
su existencia, se realizó con un gobierno y el inicio de sus funciones
se hace bajo otro , para el cual indagar sobre la verdad del conflicto
puede comprometer la seguridad nacional. Este capítulo da cuenta
del alcance del mandato de la Comisión de la Verdad, los criterios
que orientan su accionar, sus funciones y de manera particular ilustra
el debate en torno a la verdad contenida en información clasificada. The establishment of a truth commission in Colombia as a party
of the institutions that are part of the transition to peace is a great
step forward in achieving national reconciliation through the dignity
of the victims, however, this mandate is not going through easy
circumstances, taking into account that the peace dialogues and the
Final Agreement that was concluded with the FARC and from which
it derives its existence, was carried out with one government and the
beginning of its functions is conducted under another one, therefore
to inquire about the truth of the conflict can compromise national
security. This chapter talks about the scope of the mandate of the
Truth Commission, the criteria that guide its actions, its functions
and, in a particular way, illustrates the debate surrounding the truth
contained in classified information
