El conflicto armado ha sido una de las temáticas y circunstancias que han tenido un impacto significativo en la nación colombiana, este posee repercusión en distintas áreas, como lo son la social, personal, económica y emocional. El municipio de Montecristo es una población que ha sido y está siendo afectada directamente por este conflicto, por medio de secuestros, extorciones, expropiación y desplazamientos por los constantes enfrentamientos, entre otros. Debido a ello, esta investigación presentó como objetivo describir los niveles de depresión y ansiedad en lo adultos víctimas del conflicto armado del municipio de Montecristo Bolívar. Dentro de la investigación se trabajó con un paradigma positivista, desde un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo con diseño transversal con un tipo de muestreo por bola de nieve, la población para esta investigación fue de 23, con un rango de edad entre 18 y 80 años. La herramienta utilizada fue la Escala de Ansiedad y Depresión de Goldberg (EADG); tras la aplicación del instrumento (EADG) se encontró que el 73,5% de la población víctima del conflicto armado de Montecristo Bolívar, presenta sintomatología ansiosa y el 64,9% de la misma presenta sintomatología depresiva. Teniendo en cuenta que la presente investigación es tipo descriptiva, se desea que a su vez sirvan de base para próximas investigaciones y se sugiere que se amplíe la muestra. El trabajo.

The armed conflict has been one of the issues and circumstances that have had a significant impact on the Colombian nation, this has repercussions in different areas such as social, personal, economic, and emotional. The municipality of Montecristo is a population that has been and is being directly affected by this conflict, through kidnappings, extortions, expropriations and displacements due to constant confrontations, among others. Due to this, this research presented as its objective to describe the levels of depression and anxiety in adult victims of the armed conflict in the municipality of Montecristo Bolívar. Within the research, a positivist paradigm was used, from a quantitative approach, descriptive type with a cross-sectional design with a type of snowball sampling, the population for this research was 23 people, with an age range between 18 and 80 years old, the tool used was the Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale (EADG); After applying the instrument, it was found that 73,5% of the population victims of the armed conflict in Montecristo Bolívar presented anxiety symptoms and 64.9% of the population presented depressive symptoms. Considering that this research is descriptive, it is hoped that it will serve as a basis for future research and it is suggested that the sample be expanded.on their lives. In this context, the qualitative approach allows us to obtain a deep and detailed understanding of the social reality of the adolescents under study. Through in-depth interviews, we seek to capture the richness and complexity of the participants' experiences, thus allowing us to identify patterns, themes and shared meanings that emerge from their stories. In-depth interviews were conducted with members of the gang, as well as with the childhood and adolescent police and the zone chief in charge of community security. The results show that gang membership plays a significant role in the lives of these adolescents, providing them with a sense of identity and belonging in an environment where they feel marginalized or disadvantaged. The gang also offers emotional support and camaraderie, as well as the opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills. However, negative aspects associated with gang participation were also identified, such as the negative influence on family relationships and community safety. The research highlights the importance of addressing the underlying causes of gang involvement, as well as the need to offer positive alternatives and development opportunities for these at- risk youth. In conclusion, this study contributes to the understanding of the construction of social identity in adolescents belonging to gangs, highlighting the importance of addressing this problem from a comprehensive perspective that takes into account both the positive and negative aspects of gang participation.
